Brasilia

The capital of Brazil (since 1960) is located on a high plateau in the interior of the country. The city was built by Lucio Costa and Oscar Niemeyer and is constructed like an airplane. Tangents, straight roads, block of flats and green parks are the character of the city. The best overview of the city is from the TV tower (opened 8-22 o'clock).

Fans of modern architecture cover once´s expenses. Brasilia is monument and museum of the past future. After our Amazon adventure we were very happy to be in civilization again.

We were inspired of this "utopian" architecture and the weather. Deep blue sky, clear air, very clean and full of blooms and flowers.
