Leucate - Carcassonne

(southwest France)
Leucate, in the southwest of France with over 300
wind days in the year is one of the "windiest corners" of Europe. If
Tramontana and Mistral meet together, the wind reaches fast 7 or 8 Beaufort.
This constellation is ideal for Windsurfing and the Etang de Leucate become a
paradise of the windsurfers.

If the wind should be missing, then beautiful
Bungalow villages invites you to relaxing, or you can make a trip into the close
convenient Pyreneeses.

A sightseeing highlight is a trip to Carcassonne, a
medieval fortress town, with close, bent lanes and old buildings. During a walk
by the ”Cite”, one feels carried back around centuries

As everywhere in France also here Auberges, Bistros
and restaurants invites you to culinary specialities. Of course also the “Vin
de Pay” should not be missing.
