Malta

Island
between Sicily and Tunisia, is formed by the crusader. Stones there are
everywhere whether fortress walls, churches, or steep cliffs. At the first sight
Malta is not the typical holiday destination, because who looks for green lovely
landscapes will be rather disappointed here. But who likes multi-cultural way of
life, and famous hospitality of the Maltese, is here on the right
place. By a walk through Valetta, the island capital, or Medina, the old capital,
you think you are in another century. Everywhere you can see relics from foreign
cultures. Every one of the discoverers (Ottoman, Christians, Romans, Arabs,
Frenchmen or the British) leave its marks.

The
British influence was the reason, why we spent our vacation on Malta,
because the office language here is English. And where you can learn the
English language better, than on a sunny island in the Mediterranean Sea.
In May spent a 3-week language vacation in Malta and were inspired of the
good learning results and the hospitality of the Maltese and last but not least
the excellent food (God praise not English, but Italian).

On
our weekends we go to Gozo and Comino and enjoyed the days without learning. We
can recommend Malta for a cultural and learning journey.
