      Faces - people       

The Vietnamese People are very pleasant people, which make the travelling in the country uncomplicated. We had mostly good experiences with them. In the north of Vietnam you can still feel the communist influence. Here the people are more reserved, but also friendly.

Against in the south they are openly and curiously, which was naturally better for the communication.

On our tour from north to south we had much opportunity to watch and photograph humans. Most of them were very happy if we take a snapshot of them and broke out in ringing laugh or shy giggle, if we showed them then the result on the camera-display. Again and again we were fascinated of the old faces where you can read their whole life in it. But also the young girls dressed by the Ao Dai were a fantastic photo motive for us and it was no problem to make a photo of them. Mostly they were proud of it. At all there were no problems to take photos of anything or anyone, if you ask before politely and friendly. But we also respect a no and did not take the photo.
