    Ngapali Beach

At the end of our travels we spend always a few days on the beach. This time we flew from Bagan in 1 hour at Ngapali Beach in the south of Myanmar.
It was "High Season" and the handful of hotels fully booked, but on those fantastic mils long beach is everybody undisturbed.
There are not even the ubiquitous and annoying beach dealers, only very restrained fruit sellers. Otherwise, the beach belongs to the locals. Sometimes we saw the women carrying firewood on their heads or ox carts.

A very nice walk on the beach to the fishing village located in the south, where you can watch the fishermen in their daily work. It was also interesting that this fish were dried on straw and plastic sheets and we had this never seen before. For the children we tourists were the attraction and they were eager to be photographed by us.

Along the street behind the beach, the live is very leisurely. There are also some good small restaurants serving delicious seafood.

The evening atmosphere here on the beach is more than beautiful. Beach dreams come really true.
